Now for some life-changing news for all of you
Some of you may disagree, but I'm excited, so don't rain on my parade. Please?
In case you are wondering, I'm not really all that worried about bullies or people being mean and crap. And no, it's not because I lack "real world experience" or whatever the crap.
Apparently, I'm an "Ashley" now... Can I be Ashley A.? Or can I be Loki?! He's mean like the Ashleys, right?!
Loki? I'm sure some of you are saying, "O-M-G, did she just make that reference?!" The answer is yes, yes I did.
I went and saw "The Avengers" THREE TIMES! It was AWESOME! W00T!
The first time I went and saw it with Emily, the second time we made our friend Heather go see it with us (and now she's claiming she's like Captain America... whatever.), and then we forced our dad to see it with us for Father's Day.
And then we went and saw "The Amazing Spider-Man" on Monday! And it was EPIC. It was so much better than the original back in 2002, and Peter was much more like he was in the 616 'verse comics.
If you have some money to splurge, I HIGHLY recommend going to see those movies.
My birthday is in literally four days, and my birthday present from Emily and my parents got here yesterday. They let me open it. And guess what it was?

TL;DR I am still poor. I'm going to high school for my sophomore year. I'm an "Ashley" now, according to Maddie. I saw "The Avengers" and "The Amazing Spider-Man"

ReplyDeleteI've never really been into superheroes, I wanted to see the Avengers, and my friends invited me to go watch it with them, but they sold out and saw Snow White and the Huntsman instead. I guess I'll settle for watching it on some website then searching the whole of Kuwait for comics because if I like something (in this case I think I will) I like something and I don't stop.
Your so lucky to have gotten a drawing tablet, we cancelled our appointment in the U.S where tablets are cheaper by about 400$. You should consider animating then putting your animations on YouTube, you never know, they might get successful and you can get partnered with YouTube and poof you're not that poor anymore :)

DeleteBelieve it or not, I despised superheros, but for whatever reason, I went and saw the Avengers one Sunday afternoon. I was bored. :P
I came out of it wide-eyed and all like, "OMG DERP THAT WAS THE BEST MOVIE EVER ASDFGHJKL;!"
Since then, I've seen all the movies and read a handful of comics. :3
Long story short, WATCH IT! YOU MUST!
My mom got mine off of ebay for about $125, I think.
I could do animating, but it's too frustrating for me. xD I prefer to do chibi fanart. xD

Oh, I had a high school-esque thing last year for my freshman year. Only then, it wasn't a public school. It was some weird homeschool/private school crossover thing that is historically not awesome.

ReplyDeleteMy brother and dad went to the Amazing Spider Man while my mom, grandma, cousin, and I went to Brave. Brave's pretty awesome, but can't compare to Tangled. ;]
I feel your pain on the no money thing. I had a job at my dance studio, and my dance studio closed. I now go to their other location, but I have a feeling I won't be offered the same job, as I live 45 minutes away. :p NO MONEY FOR CAROLYN. XD We could start a club! THE BROKE BLOGGER'S CLUB. DeleteUm... Hi. It's Michaela from the MB, I don't know if you remember me but I've been stalking- I mean, reading your blog for a while. My mom always threatens to send me to public school, all the kids that go to the one in my town are hoodlums. I left the MB a while ago but I know enough about the Ashley thing to say congratulations.
